The food was superb -- even better than before. The staff was wonderful and we had a wonderful time celebrating our wedding anniversary. If I were to offer a suggestion, it would be to find a way to make the place a little quieter. For while this form defines a high noise level as "energetic," we actually found it a bit difficult.

We wanted to celebrate our anniversary with a quiet dinner, but we actually couldn't hear each other much of the time. Perhaps some sound-absorbing treatment of the building and quieter music would accomplish that. We do thoroughly enjoy Rudy's and plan many return visits.

You all do a superb job! Never thought it could get better but they stepped it up at new location!!! Raspberry lemon drop is the bomb! Made reservation through OpenTable, so they knew it was my husband's birthday. Didn't expect free dessert, but a "happy birthday" would be nice. We went to Konditorei afterwards for dessert. We ate in the beautiful bar since they don't have happy hour in the dining room any more. Always enjoy the food. We had a lovely dinner on the patio. Great location, service, and excellent steaks!

And OpenTable has never written me back. Not sure who to ping for an answer. Service was perfect and well timed. The food was delicious. I have been to Rudy's many times and they are constantly superior. It's a quiet, classy ambiance and the staff are friendly and efficient. It's great to have a great steakhouse in Salem instead of having to drive up to Portland.

However I am super disappointed that I got no points for booking our reservation through OpenTable! Never ever had that happen. Also, they feature asparagus as their standard vegetable with all their entrees why? We were seated at 7 and they were already out of that option. I asked to not have any asparagus served with my steak as there we no other alternatives available.

Prime rib and steak perfect done. Medium rare looked a bit rare but the texture was very perfect. Medium quote pink but again texture like a medium steak should be.

Do you use Sous Vide? Dessert for my guests having anniversary was not elegant like I expected Would have liked a chocolate slice or cheesecake?? Overall very lovely meal. We will cone back. The best bet in Salem for consistenly great steaks! Having just been given a diet for a specific physical condition, I was unsure how any restaurant would be able to prepare anything that really tasted good.

Rudy's brought me exactly what I could eat and it was fabulous It was simply prepared and simply delicious!!! It was his Birthday so my husband tried it. It was expensive but worth it. The flavor and tenderness were incredible!

My choice of scallops with grilled asparagus , fettuccini and a mild red pepper sauce was excellent too. The restaurant was having a 'soft opening' for it's new bar which looks very promising when fully stocked.

Great food, service was awesome and the waitress was bubbly. Great place to go. The customer service is great! Outstanding food and wine list, great choices for all. Rudy's is dependable and consistent. A great addition to downtown.

Beef was a little too salty which included the sirloin steak and the prime rib. Creme Brullee was wonderful. Marionberry Lemon Drop was yummy as was the Marionberry Marguerita. Love the new location and ambiance. Great local fresh food items! Manager made a point of coming over to check to see how we were doing. Very personable and professional. Service is above par! Nice to see we have a classy restaurant in Salem. Thank you for making our evening special. We will be coming back again.

Excellent overall experience with delicious food and great atmosphere. We are from California and visiting family in Oregon. Well I have to say good is an understatement. The food was excellent and the prime filet was one of the best steaks I have ever had. I have dined at the well known high end steakhouses and as far as I am concerned the prime filet shines above what I have eaten at those establishments.

Kudos to Robbie for such a fine establishment in Salem. Food was piping hot and delicious. Salmon Neptune and Chicken Marsala our favorites! We celebrated our parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. The service was fantastic. They sent the wrong appetizers, apologized and brought out the ones we ordered quickly.
