The Flying Fish Cafe has great food albeit expensive but then again, everything at Disney is expensive so you already know what to expect. Pool too loud, no water in rooms , rooms not worth the money, quite pool no service. The daily intrusion by housekeeping to check up on you is creepy. It isn't that they are concerned about you but just because of what the maggot did in Las Vegas doesn't entitle them to intrude on your privacy like you were a suspicious character.

It's enough that you get the inconvenient airport experience at the park entrances that now you have to suffer this indignity. As always Disney nails it.

Fantastic facilities and the benefit of on property transportation. First time we have stayed in Congress Park Section of the resort, and it measured up. The bus took us right to the ticket booths at Magic Kingdom. The food at the resort was mediocre, for the price it could tast better. The walk from mermaid rooms building 8 is a long walk.

It took minutes to walk from room to the "cars" pool. The little mermaid rooms were really small and not very appealing. All the room were outdoor entry much little motels. Take away the Disney aspect and you have an average motel style room in the little mermaid section where we stayed. If you pay more, there are better rooms closer to the resort style pool. The eatery was Disney style and the food was just what you'd expect from one of their mass dining experiences. It took us 30 minutes to check in.

They kept telling me that we booked with a third party and that was the problem. We had a 2 year old with us and when we checked in we asked for a pack n play. Went to get something to eat, and when we returned it still was not in the room. Very crowded, and the food was just mediocre.

The smoking area is on the jogging trail! There is only one food court for all the guests so expect long waits in line. The only provide one bed sheet so bring a blanket!!!! Wasn't as clean as they use to be for the price u pay. Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. We enjoyed our stay. There were few times where Brazilian guests were up late in the pool chanting and having parties which is difficult if you are trying to sleep.

Some of the staff especially in the food court did not want to be there and showed it at times with their attitudes. Housekeeping never made sure we had a room occupied sign so there was a concern our sleep would be disrupted at any time. Beautiful hotel grounds, nice room, double sink at bathroom, quiet room, was pretty close to the parks, nice pools, good variety of choices at the food court dining hall, and a nice large gift shop with convenience store goods, too.

Check-out, and reservation changes were a nightmare. I booked and pre-paid for 3 nights on Kayak assigned to Travelocity.

I called twice in advance to explain that I would check out after 2 nights. When arriving to check in after midnight the line was out the door and only one person was working. After 45 minutes and them not able to program the "key" wristbands, I finally got checked in using 1 key card for 4 people. They told me my reservation was 3 days and to call when I check out early. Day 2 I again waited through a long line to get more keys at which time they again tried to program wristbands with no luck so instead gave me more key cards.

When I checked out I called the front desk as instructed. The person told me I had to come to the front desk per protocol to check out early. The room was nice but nothing special and overpriced. I will not stay there again. I was very disappointed with the riverside. I expected Disney service and Disney clean. Lots of things for the kids to do. We love the location of this resort for our Disney World vacations! It's on Disney Property, good for family to spend time together rather then having two separate hotel rooms. The maid didn't come once during our 5 night stay. When we got to our room the tub was leaking from the handle. The fan that drys the tub came on scaring my kids. We called the front desk and it was fixed quickly but I feel the maid should have caught it when she cleaned.

I also didn't like how they try to get you to buy the timeshare. They waste your time trying to get you to buy a time share.
